As an attorney licensed to practice in New York State for nearly 25 years, I have made it my mission to help people with their divorce or separation (or change in family dynamics where parents lived together but were not married) in a respectful, pragmatic and supportive way. As a result, I am a firm believer in pursuing alternative dispute resolution whenever possible.
In addition to my mediation practice I am counsel to a family law firm in midtown Manhattan where I represent clients entering into prenuptial or postnuptial agreements, as well as consult on litigation matters.
BRAND NEW SERVICE DUE TO HIGH DEMAND: "SECOND LOOK"
Beginning October 1, 2026, I will be offering a flat fee service for a second opinion/review of your Settlement or Separation Agreement. I am not looking to take your case, so my review will be simply to help identify any final issues, or address your concerns, so you can speak to your current attorney and get the best possible outcome.

INITIAL CONSULTATION (90 minutes): $650
Options, likely outcomes, planning and preparation
Feeling panicked or uncertain about an impending or possible separation or divorce? Schedule a 90-minute session and leave feeling calmer and with a plan. My 2026 hourly rate is $650, so the 90-minute initial consultation gives you an additional, free half hour of advice so you don't feel rushed at your most vulnerable time.
REPRESENTING THOSE IN MEDIATION AS AN ADVISORY ATTORNEY
I also represent those in mediation who would like to consult with an attorney before or during the mediation process, and/or to review an agreement before signing. I offer pay as you go services so you're never paying in advance for attorney time.
DIVORCE/FAMILY MEDIATION
(NEW YORK STATE ONLY)
As your mediator, I can help resolve matters amicably and quickly. I can mediate your matter, draft your agreement and file your uncontested divorce.
Sessions are scheduled in one or two hour blocks, are conducted via Zoom and are "pay as you go," so there is no up front retainer required and you only pay for time spent.
Once the terms of your agreement are agreed upon, I will quote you a flat fee to draft your agreement, but typically the fee ranges from $2750 - $7500 (depending on complexity) and includes reasonable corrections.
Uncontested divorce packages (in addition to the drafting of the agreement) are also provided on a flat fee basis - currently the 2026 rate is $2,775.
PRENUPTIAL AND POSTNUPTIAL AGREEMENTS: MEDIATION OR SEPARATE REPRESENTATION
I mediate prenuptial and postnuptial agreements for couples who would like to work on terms collaboratively. Each party is encouraged to seek separate counsel before signing an agreement, and I can quote you a flat fee for agreement drafting once I know the complexity of your agreement.
Alternatively, you can mediate the terms with me and use one of your attorneys to draft. My 2026 hourly rate is $650, and mediation sessions are one or two hours long. I use a pay as you go model, so you are never paying for time you don't use.
In addition, I represent people who are either requesting prenuptial or postnuptial agreements or who are on the receiving end of such a request.
Rates vary depending on the complexity of the agreement and whether I am drafting the agreement or the attorney receiving a draft. A retainer is required.

You've worked with your New York attorney for months or years and you're finally looking at a draft of a Stipulation of Settlement or Separation Agreement that will FINALLY resolve your marital situation! Maybe you have questions, maybe you're unsure about something, maybe you just want a "second opinion" the way people do with medical issues. That's where I can help because I am not going to try and take over your case (I won't, even if you ask me to), so my review will be tailored to your questions and concerns and help you be a savvier client. The goal is to give you peace of mind and/or a list of questions or issues to raise with your regular attorney.

Quick Second Opinion: $475
You submit:
a) a short description of the situation and relevant facts (one page or less)
b) up to three specific questions (no multi-part questions)
c) up to 10 pages of supporting documents
I provide:
Written answers to your three questions within three business days of payment plus submission.
Second Set of Eyes: $749 - $1,495
You submit:
Your proposed settlement agreement, parenting agreement or separation agreement. I can also review letters from opposing counsel or specific financial or parenting proposals.
- $749 for letters, proposals or agreements 50 pages or less
- $1,195 for agreements between 51 - 80 pages
- $1,495 for agreements 81 pages or longer.
Turnaround time: one week or less.
I will flag in a memo:
- Major issues/questions that arise for me when I read it
- Provisions that need clarification or further expert advice (such as an accountant or financial planner)
- Things to discuss with your attorney
- Questions you should ask before signing
*Also included is an optional 20 minute phone call or Zoom session to clarify any of my comments.
Strategy Second Opinion: $995
You submit:
a) A detailed intake
b) Relevant documents (up to 70 pages)
I provide:
a) A 60 minute Zoom consultation where we discuss where you are in the process, what your lawyer is recommending, what the significant issues appear to be, what questions you should be asking, what needs to be investigated further, and what should be discussed with your lawyer before proceeding
b) A written summary of the second opinion (2 - 4 pages)
